Boat Harbour Remediation Project

Over the past years, the Boat Harbour Remediation Project has worked closely with stakeholders to develop a cleanup plan for Boat Harbour.

The goal of the cleanup is to return Boat Harbour to its original state as a tidal estuary. The project is undergoing a federal environmental assessment with an approval decision expected in 2023. The cleanup may begin in 2024 with an anticipated duration of 4-7 years. The total projected cost of the cleanup is expected to exceed $300 million.

We will keep the website updated with information for Requests for Proposals.
